Chris Leney MRICS FAAV REV

Partner and Rural Surveyor

Chris moved to Suffolk in the mid-1990s and has since been advising farmers and landowners across East Anglia. He is well respected for his down-to-earth, common-sense approach and the clear, practical advice he provides. Chris values long-term client relationships, believing they allow him to offer well-rounded guidance across the whole of a client’s business, rather than focusing solely on immediate issues.

With a passion for farming and extensive agricultural experience, Chris provides advice on all rural property matters. He is an experienced AMC Agent and Valuer, assisting many farmers and landowners in securing funding for a variety of projects, and he also specialises in Promotion Agreements for development and renewable energy initiatives.

Chris is actively involved in the rural community. He is a Trustee of the Felix Cobbold Agricultural Trust, past Chairman of the Hadleigh Farmers Agricultural Association, Secretary and past President of the Suffolk Association of Agricultural Valuers, and a Professional Member of the Institute of Agricultural Management. He has previously served on the National CLA Agriculture and Land Use Committee, the Suffolk CLA branch committee, and is a member of the Agricultural Law Association.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys shooting, training his Labrador, and has recently discovered a passion for growing fruit and vegetables in his garden.
